The Cock Tavern in Ongar remains one of the most popular and well patronized pubs in Ongar, largely due to their excellent choice of beer including some fine 'real ales', plus a lunchtime menu of homemade dishes with delicious dishes such as Steak & Kidney Pie cooked in Guinness.
The menu consists mainly of traditional dishes which are keenly priced and offer excellent value.
